It’s no coincidence that we decided to place the Rainbow Properties HQ in West Hampstead. It is a mix of independent shops, wonderful restaurants and gorgeous backstreet pubs, and has the added bonus of being on the Thameslink, Overground and the Jubile
Living in West Hampstead has the absolute convenience of the inner-London amenities. However, perhaps even more advantageous is the fact that it has a distinctly ‘village-like’ calm and tranquillity, especially on the weekend. You have a farmers market every Saturday, easily accessible green space and quiet, sleepy streets if you want that, but also some absolute gems which bring you that bit closer to the Capital.
Such comfort comes at a price! West Hampstead boasts some truly impressive establishments. Gastropubs like Black Lion. A sushi joint run by a former Nobu head chef in the shape of Tokoro, a speakeasy (!) and all the gems found around the Finchley Road, Kilburn, Hampstead and beyond.
Sundays are sorted for you thanks to one convenient street: West End Lane. You can have great coffee at The Wet Fish, feast your eyes at the selection of books at West End Lane Books, before treating yourself to high-quality ingredients from local favourite, The Providore.
