Shoreditch

The area that surrounds Shoreditch High Street (E1) showcases the colossal shifts that London has seen over the last 50 years better than any perhaps any other. The ‘Silicon Roundabout’ is up the road by Old Street station (EC1), the heart of London’s start-up scene. The true ‘East End’ is round the corner in Bethnal Green is now colliding head-on with the burgeoningly fashionable Hoxton in E2. Expect history, hipsters and high-pace business in this truly unique pocket of the capital.

Local Life

For an area so rich with shops and attractions, you may be surprised to hear that quiet residential area still thrive. Our favourite area is the area surrounding the iconic Colombia Road Flower Market. The residential area surrounding the market has beautiful, quaint little houses and has independent shops for all your essentials a stones-throw away.

Hidden Gems

Where does one even begin! Trying to select great food and drink around Shoreditch is like trying to name your favourite song. Check out the half dozen or so tiny, family-run Vietnamese joints up the Shoreditch stretch of the Kingsland Road (we love Mien Tay), the indomitable Bagel Bake (it’s on every ‘Best of’ list for a reason), or any of the world-class dining experiences around: to name just one, try Som Saa.
